BREAKAST AND REALLY BIG RUMMAGE SALE
The Central PA
Womyn's Chorus invites you to join them for the
annual All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast and Rummage
Sale on Saturday, May 12 from 7:30 to 11:30 AM.
The event will be held at Colonial Park UCC on
Devonshire Road (behind the Best Buy on Rt. 22).
Tickets for the breakfast are $5, with takeout
available. |

BREAKFAST
Join us the first Sunday of
each month
from 8am to 9:15am for breakfast and fellowship
prior to our 10AM worship service. There
is no cost for the breakfast.

MEN'S
and WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
Men's and women's small
groups meet in private homes each month. Call the
church office (717-236-7387) or
email us for more information on
dates and locations. |

C-PLAN MEDICAL LOAN CLOSET
The loan closet
is now open at MCCS! Medical Items such as
crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs, and
shower seats are available for loan to LGBT 50+
folks who are underinsured or do not have
insurance. |

NEW MINISTRY TEAMS FORMING
We are forming a
number of ministry teams. Please pray about and
consider your participation in one or more of
these areas of need.
Risk Management:
This team will be looking for potential
liability issues at the church. We want to be
able to eliminate or lower the risk to the
church. Team members will be looking at our
facility for potential danger, reviewing our
insurance policies, and reviewing policies and
procedures. If interested, please see Board
Member Tamika Byrd.
Building Team:
This team would be responsible for doing minor
repairs and coordinating with the Administrative
Assistant to get major repairs done. As the Risk
Management Team identifies area of potential
risk this team will work to reduce or eliminate
the risk. Please see Board Member Bernie Nelson
to indicate your interest.
Fundraising Team:
This team will organize and implement a number
of fund raisers throughout the year - anything
from dances to yard sales. The team members will
facilitate the processes while engaging others
to assist in the events. See Board Member Justin
Bacon to volunteer.
Stewardship Team:
This team will work with Rev. Lori to develop a
year long process of giving. This includes
giving of our time, talents and treasures.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
A new membership
class for those who wish to become a member of
MCC of the Spirit and/or for those who want to
learn more about the church and the fellowship.
A sign-up sheet is available in the entry way of
the church. Please indicate your preferred
meeting time. Multiple sessions can/will be
scheduled to accommodate working schedules,
including if a session is needed after church on
a Sunday. |
