Rev. Charles Tigard Interim Pastor
Rev. Charles Tigard serves as Interim Pastor, leading our congregation through a season of visioning and re-birth.
Charles previously served as Interim Pastor of MCC Key West, and Associate Pastor of MCC San Francisco. He served on the denominational staff of UFMCC for 6 years prior to his ordination in 2005.
Charles has specialized training through the Interim Ministers Network, which equips clergy to lead congregations in transition.
Charles has studied at the Claremont School of Theology, Claremont, CA, the Episcopal Theological School at Claremont, and the Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, CA. He graduated with honors from the Master of Divinity program at Claremont School of Theology, receiving the William and Douglas Cook award for Religion and the Arts. He holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Marlboro College, Marlboro, Vermont.
Most recently Charles completed Clinical Pastoral Education through the chaplaincy program at Lancaster General Health, Lancaster, PA.

Cindy Garis Administrator
Cindy Garis is at MCCS because she believes that God has called her here. She is a graduate of Messiah College with a BA in Christian Education and BS in Marketing, and received her M. Div. from Lancaster Theological Seminary. Cindy was ordained in the United Church of Christ in February 1999, and served a church in Lebanon for six years. She received training in spiritual direction from Oasis Ministries for Spiritual Development, and now serves as their Executive Director.
