Welcome to MCC of the Spirit, located in Harrisburg, PA. We're so glad you’ve connected with our online community. Our prayer today is that you find information and a message of hope that connects you with the Holy.
Whoever you are and wherever you come from on your life’s journey, there is a place for you at MCC. We are an intentionally diverse spiritual community reaching across barriers of gender, race, sexuality, disabilities, and religious backgrounds.
Throughout our 35+ year history in Harrisburg, our church has been a place where many have found healing and wholeness in their lives. The message of hope and transformation extends far beyond the walls of our church into our community. It’s a message we live everyday through our work for justice and inclusion.

MCC of the Spirit is open for on-site worship on Sundays.
Here is what you need to know:
*We will be allowing about 25 people at the service. There will be approximately 18-20 seats available (worship participants and clergy are included in the 25 people at the service).
*Each Monday you will receive a notice through constant contact with a link (for "sign-up genus") so you can reserve a seat. You will need to go to the link and reserve your seat by Thursday 10am. This will give Rev. Lori & Rev. Lawrence time to put together the seating arrangements for the upcoming Sunday. This will need to be done weekly. If there is more than one of you in a household, you will both need to sign up.
*Please note: the most important element of our worship is your health and safety. If you are not comfortable yet in crowds don't sign up. It is ok for you to remain at home. We will continue the live-stream services.
If you have been in contact with someone who has the virus, if you gather in large groups or public venues, please consider not coming to church. If you go out of state, you must have a covid test or self-quarantine for 14 days before leaving your home.
*With safety in mind, you will ...

need to wear a mask (use your own or take one of our one-time use masks).

have your temperature taken as you enter the building

use some hand sanitizer as you enter.

be asked to go directly (unless you need the rest room) into the sanctuary to get your seat. No gathering in the entry way.

not have any bibles or hymnals available. Everything will be on the monitor.

share the peace of Christ with a sign of peace. No hugging or hand shaking please.

keep your mask on even if you are singing or humming the songs. You may take your mask off to consume the communion elements.

have communion in a new way. You will receive a pre-package communion kit as you enter the sanctuary and have a joint consuming of the elements. No waiting in line.

exit the building through the side door of the sanctuary (unless you need the rest room). Again no gathering in the entry way.
