Rev. Randy D'Angelo
Associate Pastor of New Church Development
Rev. Randy was ordained and licensed by Metropolitan Community Churches into Christian ministry on September 17, 2016. He completed his Masters of Divinity at Moravian Theological Seminary (Bethlehem, PA), and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Shepherd University (Shepherdstown, WV).
In additional to his work on the Susquehanna Valley MCC church plant, Randy served for eight months in a part-time capacity at Hope United Church of Christ (Allentown) and has also spent time as a ride-share driver. In May 2019, Randy returned to his alma mater, assuming a full-time position as Director of Enrollment at Moravian Seminary.
Aside from pastoral ministry, Randy is also an avid musician. His primary instrument is piano, and when not behind the keys, he is sometimes at the keys of his computer working on innovative, new arrangements. His passion is for reviving older, well-known songs of the church that, due to awkward melody, meter, form, or style, might benefit from a little sprucing up.
Randy and his partner Chris (a musician himself as well as music educator, Arbonne consultant, and faithful member of community theatre) live in downtown Allentown along with their fluffy, helicopter-eared, white New Zealand rabbit, Snowcap.
